Instructions for Signing Up

Here are the instructions to sign up:

Once you click on the "sign up" link you will be directed to my official Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. website so that you may sign up for your legal protection securely.  Here is all that you have to do:

1. You will come to a Membership application page where you will have to select that you are agreeing to sign up with me. You will also have to choose which state you are from.
2. Once you click "GO" you will then be brought to a page where you can select what level of service you would like to have.
3. By default, the Expanded Family Plan ($26.00 per month) is already selected for you as well as the *Legal Shield Rider ($1.00 per month) for a total of $26.00 per month.
4. At this time you can also select the Identity Theft protection that you would like in addition to your Family Legal Plan.  I would highly recommend the second selection as that is the one that monitors all three credit bureaus.
5. If you do not wish to have the Family Legal Plan and only the Identity Theft protection, that is a stand alone choice at the bottom of the plan selection page.
6. Once you have selected your coverage amounts and payment type at the bottom of the page click on "Continue".
7. You will then be directed to the secure personal information application and you will fill in the basic information of yourself, your spouse (if applicable) and your children (if applicable).  Additionally you will set up a user name and password so that you may sign in to the members area of you service.
8. You will then click continue to either input your bank draft information or your credit card information depending on which option you choose.  Once that is complete you will then be taken to a review page prior to submitted the completed application.
9. Once you hit submit you are finished.

You will then be a member of Pre-paid Legal Services, Inc. and your membership will be effective immediately! (With the exception for the 15-day waiting period for traffic related incidents).

Call up your provider attorney and use them immediately!  You will be getting a package in the mail with your membership information as well as a will questionnaire.  If you would like to have the will questionnaire sent to you sooner, Contact Me and I will email you one so that you can get started right away since it take some time to get your thoughts together regarding your will.

*The Legal Shield Rider is an important access incentive that gives you access to an attorney 24 hours a day.  A good example of this is if you were detained after your law firms regular hours.  The Legal Shield Rider gives you a 24-hour number to call and you have access in emergencies even in the middle of the night should something occur.
